NULIFE’s patented HTL technology efficiently processes both high-moisture and dry biomass waste to create bio-oil. The modular design ensures scalability and adoptability for various industrial applications. NULIFE has been accepting commercial deliveries of waste and operating its Saskatoon HTL Facility since 2023. As a result, NULIFE is now producing Carbon Dioxide Removals (CDRs) as part of its operational process.
We are ready to implement solutions that:
Carbon filled waste residues and sludges are sourced from third party waste haulers or generators
Biomass is diverted from unsustainable disposal routes to HTL site
Converts wet biomass carbon into carbon rich bio oil
Bio-oil is transported to injection site
Bio-oil carbon is permanently stored via underground salt
Biogenic Carbon Dioxide (CO₂): Captured to offset fossil-derived CO₂ products.
Bio-oil: Can be used for permanent carbon dioxide removal (CDR) or as a low-carbon alternative to fossil fuels in sectors like aviation and road transport.
Biochar: Offers long-term carbon storage and potential use in materials such as asphalt or soil enhancement.
Our operational demonstration facility in Saskatoon, Canada, showcases the power of HTL technology. The Saskatoon facility will expand into our first commercial facility in 2025. The plant serves as a template for future commercial deployments.
