Waste Producers

NULIFE delivers domestic energy security from the waste streams that are already being generated daily. NULIFE defines the true ‘Circular Economy’ – using your waste to power your world.

Regions are banning organic wastes from landfills. Landfill tipping rates are increasing faster than the rate of inflation. Composting is limited in what it can accept and produces very low value output. So where does NULIFE fit? NULIFE reduces cost and pollution risk by delivering a solution for organic wet waste disposal.

In addition to reducing landfilling and avoiding the creation of new landfill capacity, the use of industrial wet waste as a feedstock for the production of biofuels offers important advantages:

  • It does not compete with food supply;

  • It does not have land use impact;

  • It is already collected via the waste management industry’s existing collection, distribution, and logistics infrastructure, meaning no additional cost to producers.

Producing biofuels and renewable chemicals from non-recyclable and non-compostable garbage also respects the waste hierarchy already adopted in several countries.

Who is our target customer?

Companies with large volumes of wastes with high moisture content which they need to value add to bolster the economics of their facility. Or their current source to dispose of them is getting too expensive and difficult due to regulatory changes.

What is the environmental impact associated with waste diversion?

For every ton of waste diverted, NULIFE reduces GHG emissions by up to 1.7 T of C02e.

What kind of waste can you accept?

Industrial wet waste streams, such as biosolids, industrial organic sludges and agriculture waste residues.

How does HydroThermal Liquefaction compare to other waste disposal streams?

Current solutions on the market such as pyrolysis, composting, and anaerobic digestion possess drawbacks such as feedstock supply challenges and requiring only dry inputs. Our HTL renewable crude oil also produces a higher quality output.

What outputs are generated from the waste collected?

NULIFE creates a renewable crude oil that can be co-processed to produce low carbon fuels, biochar, and also generates carbon credits.

How will your waste make a difference?

HTL is a Thermochemical process – It uses heat to promote chemical transformations of biomass into energy & chemical products; our differentiator is that we are best with wet feedstocks as water is a key component of our reaction.
