NULIFE's
Hydrothermal Liquefaction (HTL) Technology

OUR SOLUTION

NULIFE transforms industrial, wet organic wastes into renewable, low-carbon fuels.

NULIFE’s patented HydroThermal Liquefaction (HTL) process uses heat, water and pressure to transform wet, industrial waste into renewable crude oil.

BENEFITS OF OUR TECHNOLOGY

Our technology cuts disposal costs in half, addressing critical environmental regulations, and reduces C02e emissions by 1.7 tonnes per tonne of waste.

  • Opportunity exists to generate revenue as “tipping fees” as alternative recipient for waste than traditional landfill.

  • We target the more difficult to handle industrial waste streams which are often wet, this includes sewage and industrial sludges

  • NULIFE creates long-term benefits aligned with escalating carbon pricing as well as regulatory and environmental drivers.

  • NULIFE can replace the landfill, anaerobic digestion, and land-spreading while reducing costs of trucking and associated pollution risks for our customers.

Our process strongly supports your Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) goals.

Providing sustainable solutions to industry leading companies who desire to reduce their carbon footprint.

Supporting Low Carbon Targets, one ton at a time.

The Clean Fuel Standard (CFS) is driving transformational change in Canada's path to it's 2030 GHG reduction goals.

Established in Q4 2020, CFS Regulations will require liquid fossil fuel primary suppliers (producers and importers) to reduce the carbon intensity of their fuels used in Canada from 2016 levels by around 13%.

NULIFE’s bio-crude oil has a Carbon Intensity (CI) of -15g CO2e/MJ (preliminary). This low CI is valuable, as it supports Canada’s new Clean Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel Standards.

NULIFE’s bio crude oil has a Carbon Intensity (CI) of -50g CO2e/MJ (preliminary); this supports requirements of Canada’s new Clean Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel StandardsNULIFE’s bio crude oil has a Carbon Intensity (CI) of -50g CO2e/MJ (preliminary); this supports requirements of Canada’s new Clean Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel Standards NULIFE’s bio crude oil has a Carbon Intensity (CI) of -50g CO2e/MJ (preliminary); this supports requirements of Canada’s new Clean Fuel Standard and Low Carbon Fuel Standards

NULIFE will yield a GHG reduction up to 1.7 tonnes of C02e per tonne of waste diverted from landfills.

A key component of NULIFE's value is delivered through Carbon Credit generation. Selling at $65 in 2023 and escalating by $15 per year up to $170 by 2030, the carbon credit market is accelerating quickly.

Scalable and sustainable solution

Let's do the math.

It costs North America close to $10B per year to dispose of biosolids (66M tons/year), not to mention the other 250M tons of organics that require disposal. NULIFE’s technology could produce 1.7B gallons of Renewable Fuels worth $22B from these biosolids.
